lugata,Thank you for the invitation. It would be a pleasure to come to Brazil to meet you and to dance with you but it would not settle the issue of what International Samba consists of. It you consider this to be Salsa, we will have a terrible time dancing it together. My steps on taken on whole beats of much faster music. In this video, the timing varies but mostly they are dancing on 1/4 beats and 3/4 beats.(We already agree 100% about what Samba de Gafieira consists of.)

Saphiree,It had a lot more bounce in the mid-twentieth century. The trend today is for less rise and fall, less tilting and tighter movements.

This is not international samba also. You talking like this offend my culture.Come to Brazil to know what is samba and also international samba. This is a salsa video with spanish song, this is an international salsa video indeed! Congratulations you can dance salsa pretty well!

I dont care if this isn't real samba, it looks beautiful! We shouldn't be hating on it because it isn't real samba, it's dancing! If your offended it's only because you've chosen to be offended!!!

ich glaube das können nur bestimmte südländer wie spanier, mexikaner oder portugiesen und nicht alle südländer wie beispielsweise türken oder griechen^^
