she has another live performance on the bar on the right. It's even more impressive, if you can believe that.

Thanks for your words. I didn't know anything about this thumbs up or down thing but I would never give anyone a thumbs down on their opinion. Like I said elsewhere, I have been listening to the Tchaikovsky for 40 years, and I follow it with the score. I have heard the greats like Heifetz, Menuhin, Stern and Perlman with enjoyment. I also know that in a live performance mistakes are made. The great Rubinstein said he could play another concerto just with the wrong notes he played!

stop giving goodchessactor bad comment reviews unless you dont know what he's talking about. It is a lot slower. there are a lot of false notes. for all you idiots out there, dont take negative comments as your ticket for pushing the down thumb sign. LISTEN FOR ONCE.

looks like she's crying at times..

At 06:54 the music and the camera view blend in together. The great Tchaikovsky! Haha I wonder what is he thinking when he wrote this piece.

scrape, scrape, scrape...but slowly.

What must it be like for the orchestra to play this same piece over and over. They were really off for the russian guy....

we can debate her performance all we want but the fact is, damn. she won tchaikovsky! she's got enough money and concert engagements to shut us all up now!! :P
goodchessactor (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
It might be the recording, but I still hear a lot of false notes. I still think the tempo is slower. However I'll let Tchai carry Kamio on his shoulders and I'll carry Suwannai!

Tchaikovsky would carry Kamio around on his shoulders if he heard her play. |
