May I ask where you got that information that they did not write this song? I will admit I don't know much about the bands background, but I do know that the lead singer has stated that he wrote this song specifically for his father who passed away from cancer.

I dont know how much I would care to say about JET at the risk of permenantly damaging my working relationships with specific people in the music industry...BUT I'll just say that this band are NOT what they seem. And NO, they didnt write a single lick on this album. Lets just say...they were desperate. yes...the word "DESPERATE" fits this band perfectly.

You are mistaken. The lead singer wrote this song for his father who died of cancer.Besides even if he didn't write the song that has no effect of how well it is performed.
