Yeah that's true. Cutting the War or Drugs' marijuana-busting budget would be good though. I'd personally like to see a crackdown on crack cocaine. Not the users, but the dealers and the importers. I'd also love to see some black leader who is accepted by black America, who understands their situation and has lived it, and who motivates these inner city kids to try to move up in society. Someone who can bring them hope w/o talking down to them and blaming them. Someone they will listen to.

I don't think Obama could do anything if he wanted to. It's impossible to micromanage the country. He could filter word through the justice league er I mean Justice Department but the cop on the street ain't gonna get the memo.

Obama won't do anything about the War on Drugs, because there are too many psycho parents that would go insane. And everyone knows, all the psycho people in this country are the ones that get media coverage. And everyone knows, media coverage heavily influences public opinion.As soon as any legislation about the pointless War on Drugs hits the media, all the psycho parents will come out of the woodwork because "Drugs are Bad." These crazy parents are incapable of abstract thought.

What is Obama going to do about the War on Drugs and the harm that we are doing to our citizens. I think that someone like Ethan Nadelmann for Drug Czar will make a difference. Stop this stupid war.
