You have to pay a fee and then they charge you additional money to cars and tracks? That's such a ripoff. It should be one way or the other but not both.

Looks nice, but they are really pushing their luck with the prices, $150 per year? and its never yours, come on are you serious? I might consider if its a once off, and then pay for additional cars etc at $5 at most. The most I'll pay per year is $30.

This is a very clever business concept built around the desire for residual income by the creators more so than a desire to serve the sim racing "community".A great business model (see Everquest, World of Warcraft etal as examples) but all those "pay to play" games are ok when they are a simple subscription, but as they (and iRacing) try move forward with a "pay per item" model, they will price themselves out of their own userbase/market over time.

I would get it if they didn't charge for the upgrades, u should earn them in competion.
